Bankstown Childrens Hospital
THANK - YOU!!
On behalf of the children and nursing staff at the Bankstown Hospital Children’s ward, the team at LJ Hooker Padstow would like to thank everyone who supported their inaugural Charity Toy Drive. The generosity of the local community was overwhelming with over 65 donations of toys and gifts collected.
“Santa is very busy at this time of year so we called in a one of his helpers – Mr Hooker Bear, to help us distribute the gifts to the children” said Lush Pillay, Principal, LJ Hooker Padstow.
On Wednesday 22nd December the whole team from LJ Hooker Padstow joined Mr Hooker Bear to hand out gifts, balloons & candy canes to the children and there were plenty of gifts to leave under the tree for those children who would be admitted to hospital over the festive season.
“Christmas is a time for giving and it was heart-warming to see the smiles on the children’s faces” added Mr Pillay “Our thoughts and prayers are with the children & their families & we wish them all the best for speedy recoveries”.
