It’s that time of year again, the time of giving, joy and happiness.
MONSTER CHRISTMAS RAFFLE - CAROLINE CHISHOLM SCHOOL
This year the team at LJ Hooker padstow organised a Monster Christmas Raffle fund raiser with all the money raised going to the Caroline Chisholm Disability School to go towards Tricycles and helmets for the children (each bike costs an average of $500 and the school goes through 10 helmets a month).
In order to do this, the local shop owners in the Padstow area very kindly made donations such as gift vouchers, gifts and items we put in Christmas hampers to raffle off.
The generosity shown was outstanding!! Thank-you to all who participated - there were more than 45 prizes in total.
On Thursday 15th December the team from LJ Hooker Padstow, together with Mr Hooker Bear, visited the school to present a cheque for all monies raised ($2,500).
A special thank-you goes out to Jennifer from Fairy Good Times (http://www.fairygoodtimes.com.au) who donated her time to attend the school with us assisting with balloons, chocolate and candy for the kids as well as drawing the raffle.
